OnlyFans account recovery starts with “Forgot password?” on the login screen: OnlyFans will email a link to the address on your account so you can set a new password. If you no longer have access to that email, your phone number or your two-step verification, or if the account has been suspended, you’ll need to contact OnlyFans support from the email you signed up with and prove the account is yours.

Below is what to do in each situation, step by step, what support will ask you for and how to stop it from happening again. If you’re a creator, there’s a separate section on suspensions, restrictions and held payouts. One warning before you start: only OnlyFans can give you your access back, so ignore any “recovery tool”, service or stranger offering to do it for you.

Why you might lose access to your OnlyFans account

Find your situation and jump to its section:

  • You forgot your password. The most common case, and the easiest to fix.
  • You signed up with Google or X and don’t remember how you used to log in.
  • You can’t access the email you opened the account with anymore.
  • You changed your number or lost the phone you used for two-step verification codes.
  • Someone got into your account and changed the password or the email.
  • The account is suspended, restricted or deleted, either by OnlyFans or because you deleted it yourself.

How do I recover my OnlyFans account if I forgot my password?

If you forgot your OnlyFans password but still have access to the account’s email, you’ll sort it out in a few minutes:

  1. Go to onlyfans.com and, on the login screen, tap “Forgot password?”.
  2. Enter the email you signed up with.
  3. Open the email from OnlyFans and follow the link to reset your password.
  4. Create a new password: a long one that you don’t use anywhere else.
  5. If you had two-step verification turned on, you’ll also be asked for the code.

If you signed up with Google or X

If you created the account with the Google or X button, it may not have a password of its own, in which case “Forgot password?” won’t help. Log in with that same button and, if you’ve lost access to that Google or X account, recover it first through its own process.

If the reset email never arrives

  • Wait a few minutes and check spam, promotions and every other folder.
  • Make sure you typed the address correctly.
  • Request a new link if the first one expired or doesn’t work.
  • If it never arrives, your account may be registered under a different email. Search all your inboxes for “OnlyFans”: the one with its notifications or receipts is your account’s email.

OnlyFans account recovery without email

The fastest route is usually to recover the email account itself first. Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and the rest all have their own process to get back in with your phone number or a backup email, and once you’re in, you can reset your OnlyFans password as normal.

If the email address no longer exists or there’s no way to recover it, contact OnlyFans support from an address you do control. Have ready anything that proves the account is yours:

  • Your username and the old email on the account.
  • Roughly when you opened it and which country you use it from.
  • If you’re a fan, the details of a recent payment you can identify.
  • If you’re a creator, your ID document, the same one you verified the account with.

Only send what support asks for, and never your password.

OnlyFans account recovery without a phone number

You log in to OnlyFans with your email and password (or with Google or X), not with your phone number. So if you’ve changed numbers, there are two possible situations:

  • The number was only on your profile. Reset your password by email and, once you’re in, update the number in your account settings.
  • You used it for two-step verification (or you lost the phone with your authenticator app). Without that code you can’t finish logging in, so email support from the account’s address, explain that you’ve lost your second factor and follow their instructions to confirm you’re the owner.

In other words, as long as you still have the email, the phone number isn’t essential. When you’re back in, set up two-step verification again with a number or a phone you’re going to keep.

If someone hacked your account

Work through it in this order:

  1. Secure your email. Change its password, turn on its two-step verification and check there are no forwarding rules you didn’t set up. Whoever controls your email can take your account again.
  2. Change your OnlyFans password and review the active sessions in your security settings to log out any you don’t recognize.
  3. Turn on two-step verification on OnlyFans.
  4. Check what was changed. If you’re a fan, review your saved cards and recent charges. If you’re a creator, check above all your payout bank details, your email and your username.
  5. If you can’t get in, contact support as soon as possible with any notifications you received (password change or login emails) and screenshots of what you see.
  6. Call your bank if you see charges you don’t recognize.

Can you recover a deleted OnlyFans account?

Deleted accounts

If you deleted it yourself and have changed your mind, contact support as soon as possible and ask whether it can still be reversed. If the deletion has already gone through, don’t count on getting it back. And if OnlyFans closed it for a serious breach of its rules, the decision is usually final.

Inactive accounts

If you haven’t used it in a long time, first try logging in or resetting the password with the email addresses you usually use. If OnlyFans doesn’t recognize any of them, you may have opened it with another address or it may no longer exist: in that case, contact support with your username.

For creators: suspensions, restrictions and held payouts

On a creator account, losing access isn’t just a password problem: there may be money at stake. These are some common reasons for a suspension or a block:

  • Verification problems: an expired ID, details that don’t match or a verification that was never completed.
  • Content with other people who aren’t verified or haven’t given written consent.
  • Content or behavior that breaks OnlyFans’ rules, sometimes flagged through user reports.
  • Payment issues, such as chargebacks or suspected fraud.
  • Suspicious logins, which can lead OnlyFans to lock the account to protect it.

What to do:

  1. Read the notice calmly. It’s your best clue to the reason.
  2. Fix what’s in your hands before writing in: update your ID, complete verification or remove the content causing the problem. If the block comes from verification, check how to get verified on OnlyFans.
  3. Email support from the account’s address with your username, a short and polite explanation, what you’ve already fixed and any proof you have. Send one message, then reply in the same thread.
  4. Don’t open another account to get around the suspension while it’s being resolved.

Keep in mind that, under its terms, OnlyFans can hold your payouts while a review is ongoing, and if the account is closed for breaking the terms you can lose your pending balance. How payouts and timings work is explained in how long OnlyFans takes to pay out.

If your creator account is already an important source of income, it’s worth not running it alone: an OnlyFans manager keeps an eye on verification, content rules and login security with you, so a block doesn’t catch you off guard.

How to contact OnlyFans support

Only OnlyFans support can restore your access. You can reach it through the OnlyFans Help Center or by email at support@onlyfans.com. To get your case resolved faster:

  • Write from the account’s email whenever you can.
  • Include your username, what happened, when, and what you’ve already tried.
  • Attach screenshots of any error messages or notifications you received.
  • Be brief, polite and specific, and don’t open several tickets about the same issue.

Be wary of social media profiles, self-styled experts, phone numbers or “account recovery tools” that offer to get your account back in exchange for money or your details. If you’ve asked for help on Reddit or X, expect DMs like that. Nobody outside OnlyFans can do it.

How to avoid losing your account again

  • Turn on two-step verification on OnlyFans and on your email, and keep the number or the phone you use for it up to date.
  • Use a unique password for OnlyFans and keep it in a password manager.
  • Don’t share your login details. Neither OnlyFans nor a serious agency will ask for them to review your profile.
  • If you’re a creator, keep your ID up to date on the platform.
  • Be wary of emails urging you to “verify” your account: get there by typing onlyfans.com instead of clicking the link. And avoid apps claiming to be OnlyFans; our guide to the OnlyFans app explains why.

The rest of the settings that protect your account and your identity are in our guide to OnlyFans privacy settings.
